SANTA SALETE
State : São Paulo

Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 7, 1997.
The chevron represents the division of the land into small properties by the first settlers, the fleur de lys are the attribute of the Blessed Virgin alluding to the patron saint of the city and the axes evoke the first activity performed when the colonization of the area began: woodcutting.
The supporters show that grape and orange are important agricultural products of the region.
The shield is surmounted by a mural crown appropriate to a city and a scroll below the shield bears the name of the city.
