Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on November 5, 1985.

The upper part of the arms shows a temple. The temple symbolises the former Roam inhabitation, as well as the Tempelhof Estate in the village. The colours are derived from the colours of the arms of the Lords of Manderschied-Kail, who ruled the area for many centuries. The lower part of the arms is canting, Mülbach meaning mill-stream.

Literature : Wappenbuch der Verbandsgemeinde Bitburg-Land 1995.
