District (Kreis) : Soltau-Fallingbostel (until 1977 Fallingbostel)

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1958, with a composition which previously was already used on the seal of the village. The two lions are the lions of the Dukes and Princes of Hannover and with the crown indicate that the area was ruled by Hannover.
