Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 7, 1995.

The mountain refers to the local mountains and the fertile blak soil in the parish. The vine indicates the importance of viticulture in the region. The chalice and the golden besants refers to the oldest document where Baguim is mentioned, which also refers to a silver chalice and a price of 15 sous.
