Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 7, 1979.

The wild boar is a symbol of courage and the pig breeding in the area. Pig breeding was the main occupation at the beginning of the settlement. The wavy bar symbolises the Turvo river in the city.

The shield is surrounded by corn, beans and rice branches, the main agricultural crops in the area.
