Official blazon

In geteiltem Schild oben in Grün ein silberner Rautenkranz, unten in Gold ein blauer Wellenpfahl.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on November 13, 1956.

The upper half is derived from the arms of the former Benedictan Abbey of Elchingen, which owned a lot of lands in the area since the 13th century. The lower half symbolises the Lone river, which flows through the municipality.
