Sinisessä kentässä hopeisen aaltokoroisen tyviön yläpuolella selätysten kaksi tyviöstä nousevaa hopeista kalaa, joiden varukset punaiset.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 19, 1963.

Evijärvi means fin-lake and thus the fins of the two salmon are more clearly shown and the base shows a lake. The salmon also refer to the (formerly) important fishing for the municipality.
