Wappen von Großostheim/Arms (crest) of Großostheim
Official blazon
German

Geteilt von Gold und Schwarz; oben ein halber, springender schwarzer Bock; unten drei zwei zu eins gestellte silberne Kleeblätter.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 17, 1910.

The arms show in the upper part the goat taken from the arms of the Schad family, who lived for centuries in the municipality. The lower part shows three trefoils, which are an old village sign. They were already seen on a 17th century seal of the village.
