• Escudo de prata com uma rosa de cinco pétalas de vermelho, abotoada de ouro e folhada de verde; chefe, de vermelho com 7 fuselas de prata unidas e alinhadas em faixa; • Elmo militar de prata, forrado de vermelho, a três quartos para a dextra • Correia de vermelho, perfilada de ouro. • Paquife e virol de prata e vermelho. • Timbre: Um corvo negro bicado e sancado de prata carregado com um pentágono de prata com bordadura de vermelho perfilado de prata. • Divisa: Num listel branco, ondulado, sotoposto ao escudo em letras negras, maiúsculas, de estilo elzevir: «UBI GLÓRIA OMNE PERICULUM DULCE».

Origin/meaning

The Rose is from the arms of the Count of Lippe, for which the Regiment was named in 1763. The Chief is for the Machine Gun Battalion Nr 1 whose traditions the Regiment inherited in 1960. The Raven in the Crest Symbolises the City of Lisbon, it is charged with a Fortress symbolising the Calçada de Ajuda Garrison in the City.
