Kangasala Kuntavaakuna / Kommunvapen

Official blazon

Hopeakentässä harppu, jonka yhdyspuu ja kaula muodostavat kotkakuvion, saatteena seitsemän pisaraa asetettuina 2+2+2+1; kaikki punaisia.

The arms were granted on September 11, 1951.

The harp is a symbol for a song, A summerday in Kangsala. The drops are derived from a local legend involving crying stones.
