Zeutern was first mentioned in 1281 as a village with its own local court. The village did, however, not use a seal until the early 18<sup>th</sup> century. In Blau auf grünem Boden der silbern gekleidete, golden nimbierte hl. Martin mit goldenem Helm und rotem Helmbusch auf einem schreitenden, schwarz gezäumten silbernen Pferd, mit goldenem Schwert in seiner Rechten den roten Mantel teilend; vor ihm kniend der Bettler mit schwarzer Hose und schwarzer Krücke in der Linken.
