Official blazon

Shield:Per pale Tenné and Argent a hand couped grasing a flash fesswise emitting two flames arched all counterchanged, in base four barrulets wavy of the like.
Crest:From a wreath Argnet and Tenné a mural crown Sbale mortared of the first issuing flames Or and Gules and a dexter hand Proper grasping a lightning bolt palewise azure.
Motto:Think, Go, Do

Distinctive Unit Insignia Description:a silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consiting lf a shield blazoned: Per pale Tenné and Argent a hand couped grasing a flash fesswise emitting two flames arched all counterchanged, in base four barrulets wavy of the like. Attached around the base a scroll inscribed "THINK, GO, DO" in black letters.

Origin/meaning

Orange and White are the colours of the Signal Corps. The partition of the shield symbolise the two functions of the Battalion - Supply and Maintenance. The Hand grasping a Flash symbolises the mission of the Battalion. The four Wavy Barrulets symbolise the four places of activation:Italy, Germany, Japan and the United States. The Signal function is further symbolised by the Flash hand by the Hand in the Crest. The Mural Crown symbolise service in Europe during World War II. The Fires respresent both the Signal Fires of the past and also the World War II during which the Unit saw distingusihed service.

The Coat of arms and Distictive Unit Insignia was approved on 18 May 1962. The arms were amended to add a Crest on 10 June 1994.
