88TH LOGISTICS READINESS SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Constituted as 88 Motor Vehicle Squadron, Depot on 10 Oct 1952. Activated in the Reserve on 20 Nov 1952. Redesignated as 88 Motor Vehicle Squadron (Depot) on 12 Nov 1954. Inactivated on 8 Oct 1956. Disbanded on 15 Jun 1983. Reconstituted, and consolidated (16 Sep 1994) with 2750 Transportation Squadron, which was designated, and activated on 10 Sep 1990. Redesignated as: 645 Transportation Squadron on 1 Oct 1992; 88 Transportation Squadron on 1 Oct 1994. Inactivated on 1 Feb 2000. Redesignated as 88 Logistics Readiness Squadron on 30 Sep 2013. Activated on 18 Oct 2013.
