91ST MISSILE MAINTENANCE SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Constituted as 91 Maintenance Squadron, Strategic Reconnaissance, on 11 Oct 1948. Activated on 10 Nov 1948. Redesignated as: 91 Maintenance Squadron on 16 Mar 1950; 91 Field Maintenance Squadron on 28 May 1952. Inactivated on 8 Nov 1957. Activated on 15 Nov 1962. Organized on 1 Feb 1963. Discontinued and inactivated on 25 Jun 1968. Consolidated (1 Jul 1994) with 91 Missile Maintenance Squadron, (constituted as 91 Missile Maintenance Squadron, and activated, on 22 May 1968; organized on 25 Jun 1968; and inactivated on 30 Sep 1975), which had been consolidated (16 Oct 1984) with 91 Field Missile Maintenance Squadron which was constituted on 20 Aug 1975 and activated, on 30 Sep 1975. Redesignated as: 91 Maintenance Squadron on 1 Jul 1994; 91 Missile Maintenance Squadron on 1 Oct 2002.
