Un scut triunghiular, cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat în furcă răsturnat. În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp verde, se află 3 oi de argint, dispuse 2 : 1. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp roșu, se află un mănunchi de spice de grâu. În vârful scutului, în câmp albastru, se află un vas de argint cu meandre striate. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu 3 turnuri crenelate.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 13, 2011.

The vessel and the 3 sheep signify the fact that the locality is an old Geto-Dacian settlement from the "Boian" civilization from the 5th century BC, being founded by a group of shepherds under the leadership of the Bacan Cazan.

The bunch of wheat ears symbolizes the basic occupation of the inhabitants, agriculture.
