Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat în furcă. În partea superioară, în câmp auriu, se află un tun negru, cu afet. În partea dreaptă, în câmp albastru, se află un sceptru cu cruce, de argint. În partea stângă, în câmp verde, se află o ramură de stejar cu două frunze și două ghinde, de aur, având sub ea două fascii undate de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu trei turnuri crenelate.

The arms were officially granted on December 21, 2011

The cannon refers to the existence of the first fortress in the defense belt of Bucharest, built by King Carol I in the municipality. The cross-scepter signifies the image of the artifact discovered in 2001 in the Chitila-Fermă archeological site, dating from the 3rd to 5th century, as well as the four churches in the locality.

The oak branch evokes the old secular forests of Vlasia.

The wavy bars represent the Colentina River and its tributary, the Mangu Stream.

The mural crown with three crenellated towers means that the town has the status of a city.
