CUCA (ARGEȘ)

District/county (județ) : Argeș

Stema Cuca (Argeș)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 6, 2014.

The sheep, cow and plums symbolize the basic occupations of the inhabitants, animal husbandry and fruit growing.

The chevron represents the cuca, which gives the name of the locality, being a triangular elevation from the roof, through which the light enters the attic of the buildings, as well as the hills, being the predominant form of relief in the area.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
