Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 27, 2008.

The arms show the canting pomegranate with a bordure of Castille and Aragón. The arms are a simpliefied version of the arms of the city of Granada.

I have no information on the meaning of the rope. Any information is welcome !
