HARÉVILLE

Département: Vosges

Blason de Haréville/Arms (crest) of Haréville
Official blazon
French D'azur à la tour d'argent maçonnée et ajourée de sable, accompagnée de saint Férréol et de saint Ferjeux d'argent chacun portant sa tête coupée.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The tower indicates that the village is Haréville "under the castle of Montfort", to mark the difference with Haréville-les-Chanteurs. The Saints Ferreolus and Ferrutio (Saint Ferréol and Saint Ferjeux in French) are two martyrs from the 2nd century. These are the patron saints of the church of Haréville.
