Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially registered in 1961.

The arms show a troll, and three shells. The troll is taken from the canting arms of Herluf Trolle (in gold a red troll), the shells are taken from the arms of Brigitte Gyes (in blue three silver scallops placed bendwise). They founded together the, still existing, boarding school in Herlufsholm in 1565.
