Origin/meaning
The sword and key are the attributes of St. Peter and St. Paul - the patron saints of the local basilica. The raven with bread in its beak symbolizes the legend of the Holy Paul the Hermit, and refers to the Pauline Order and the monastery in the Forest of Podlasie.
