Official blazon

  • (1952) Sinisessä kilvessä palkeittain puupuntari; saatteena sen molemmin puolin paaluittainen tähkä; kaikki kultaa.
  • (2005) Sinisessä kentässä paaluittain vehnäntähkä, jossa kaksi lehteä, saatteena neljä apilaristiä asetettuina 2+2; kaikki kultaa.

Origin/meaning

Since 2005 the municipality uses the old arms of Loimaan kunta.

The previous arms were granted on August 8, 1952.

The arms are based on the town's seal. The seal showed a balance, of which one arm was placed in the arms. The wheatears indicate that the town is situated in one of the major agricultural areas of the country.
