Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, scartelat. În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp roșu, se află un turn de cetate medievală de aur, cu patru creneluri și trei ferestre negre. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp albastru, se află un animal fantastic numit grifon, de argint, cu cap de pasăre orientat spre dreapta, cu zborul deschis, ieșind dintr-o coroană cu fleuroane, ținând în laba dreaptă o pană, iar în stânga, o sabie curbată. În partea inferioară, în dreapta, în câmp albastru, se află o fântână heraldică de argint. În partea inferioară, în stânga, în câmp roșu, se află un vas de ceramică dacică de aur, ornamentat cu un brâu alveolar. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 13, 2015.

The fortress tower refers to one of the feudal vestiges in the area, namely the medieval fortress from the 13th century. The griffin is the symbol taken from the coat of arms of the Negrea de Oncești family.

The fountain evokes the "Fountain of the King" from which King Louis of Anjou drank on his way against Bogdan.

The ceramic vessel refers to the traces of the Dacian settlement on the top of "Magura", which dates from the first century BC.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
