District/county (județ) : Brașov

Stema Prejmer

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 20, 2013.

The blue field of the shield represents the richness of the springs, which feed the clean and highly oxygenated mountain watercourses, having a specific flora and fauna.

The orb is a sign brought by the Teutonic Knights in 1218, referring to the apostolic mission of the Order of the Teutonic Knights.

The oak leaves symbolize the pond oak, a species developed on the swampy surfaces of the locality, a species protected as a natural monument, today being found in protected areas.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
