Spanish	Escudo partido: 1º, cuartelado: 1º y 2º de gules, un castillo de oro; 3º y 4º, de plata, un león rampante de gules; 2º, de plata un roble de su color con dos lobos de sable pasantes al tronco y en palo.. Su variante ornamentada con el Toisón de Oro, timbrada corona real abierta y las tradicionales armas de la corona de Castilla y del señorio de Vizcaya, según la labra heráldica del palacio de las Juntas de Avellaneda, del antiguo territorio de Las Encartaciones, es empleado también como símbolo del municipio.
