English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 26, 2012.

The arms show an owl, which is the symbol for the local radio and radar stations, as owls have a very well developed hearing system. The two hammers and the purple colour refer to the brown coal (lignite) mining and the cod to the importance of fishing for the village.
