Punaisessa kentässä alainen, kaateinen polviorsi, josta nousee kolmisakarainen torni; molemmat hopeaa.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 10, 1965.

The tower is taken from the historical seal of the Kajaani city and region, to which the village historically belonged. The inverted chevron is the initial of the municipality.
