Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat în furcă răsturnată. În partiția din dreapta sus, pe fond roșu, se află un căprior de aur din profil spre stânga. În partiția din stânga sus, pe fond albastru, se află o biserică de argint cu pridvor mărginit de o balustradă și o ușă ajurată negru, cu acoperiș sprijinit pe patru stâlpi și turlă, având acoperiș triunghiular, în vârful căruia este așezată o cruce latină. În vârful scutului, pe fond de argint, se află o crenguță naturală cu trei frunze și patru prune albastre. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

The church refers to the wooden church from Valea Chioarului, which was built in 1846, a historical monument.
The plum twig suggests one of the basic occupations of the inhabitants, fruit growing.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
