Arms (crest) of Wellington (Ontario)

Official blazon

Arms : Azure a cross Gules fimbriated Argent between in each quarter five plates in saltire all within a bordure Argent charged of seven garbs Tenné.
Crest: A figure of the first Duke of Wellington holding a sword in his dexter hand and mounted on a horse passant proper.


The arms were officially granted on September 19, 1984 by Lord Lyon (Scotland) and registered on July 29, 1996 (Canada).

The crest shows the Duke of Wellington.
