Official blazon
German Gespalten von Rot und Grün, vorn ein halber, schwarz-gezungter silberner Adler am Spalt, hinten ein silberner Wellenpfahl
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 7, 1993.

The demi-eagle is taken from the arms of the Counts of Ruppin, who used a silver eagle in red, and symbolises that the area historically was ruled by the Counts. The other half symbolises the Temnitz river in agricultural land.

To the Amt belong:

  • Dabergotz
  • Märkisch Linden
  • Storbeck-Frankendorf
  • Temnitzquell
  • Temnitztal
  • Walsleben
