Official blazon
(de)
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on October 25, 1930.
The arms were based by Hupp in the late 19th century on a seal dating from 1758. The seal, however, does not belong to the village, but to an individual. The lion is coloured as the lion of Zweibrücken, as the village historically belonged to Zweibrücken. Hupp showed the arms in a silver field, without providing the reason for this metal.
