(de) In Blau ein wachsender, silbener Giebel mit zwei neidersächsischen Pferdeköpfen, bei dem im schwarzen Loch eine silberne Eule sitzt. Oben in Blau zu beiden Seiten ein goldenes Herz schwebend.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 27, 1953.
The gable is a canting element, the name is derived from the old word 'bur', meaning house. The owl refers to the Uhlenbrook books, the compiled works of the local author Schulze-Lohof. The hearts symbolise the love for the village.
