HARDENBURG
State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Bad Dürkheim
Incorporated into : 1935 Bad Dürkheim
Official blazon
(de) In Blau unter einem dreilatzigen roten Turnierkragen ein rotbewehrter silberner Adler.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on December 4, 1907.
The arms are identical to the arms of the former Counts of Leiningen-Hardenburg, who used the eagle of the Leiningen family, and a label as a distinction. The family lived on the local castle for more than 200 years.
