Selected collector's items from Germany:

REDEKIN

State : Sachsen-Anhalt
District (Kreis) : Jerichower Land
Incorporated into : 2010 Jerichow

Wappen von Redekin

Official blazon

(de) Grün über Silber durch goldene Leiste geteilt, oben eine goldene Glocke begleitet von zwei zum Schildrand hin schräg gestellten goldenen Ähren, unten drei schwarze Schrägbalken.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 31, 2008.

The bell refers to the former village of Rehnogh, which was destroyed, butthe churchbell, of a rather unusual design, was later found and re-used.

The wheat-ears refer to the agricultural character of the village.

The lower half is derived from the arms of the Von Redekin family, which lived in the village for a long time.
