Über goldenem Schildfuß in Blau ein silbernes lang gestrecktes Gebäude mit zwei Fachwerkgiebeln und schwarzem Dach, in der Mitte ein silberner Turm mit geschwungener Haube; der Schildfuß ist belegt mit zwei an den Stielen gekreuzten Eichenblättem, darüber schwebend zwei grüne Eicheln.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 17, 1997.
The arms show the local church, known for its special architecture and design. The oak leaves in the base refer to the Eichsfeld region.
