German heraldry:

Selected collector's items from Germany:

MÜMLING-GRUMBACH

State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Odenwaldkreis (until 1972 Erbach)
Incorporated into : 1971 Höchst im Odenwald

Wappen von Mümling-Grumbach

Official blazon

Schild von Silber und Blau geteilt, rechts zwei rote Balken, in dem verbreiterten linken Feld eine steigende goldene Hindin mit einem darübergelegten und nach unten weisenden silbernen Pfeil.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 23, 1968.

The bars are taken from the arms of the Breuberg estate, to which the village historically belonged. The deer with an arrow is the symbol of St. Aegidius, the patron saint of the local chapel.
