EAST ASIAN INFANTRY REGIMENT, GERMANY
Garrison 1914: disbanded 1906
Raised : 1900 as the 1st East Asian Infantry Regiment on of Six infantry Regiments of the German East Asian Expeditionary Corps that was sent as part of the International Froce to put down the Boxer Rebellion in China.

Origin/meaning
The Regiment was recruited from all parts of the Germany hence the use of the Black-White-Red Colours of the Empire and the use of the Imperial Arms instead of the Prussian Eagle.
