Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1998.

The three villages that merged into Buschdorf were founded in the 18th century specifically for wool-spinning for fabrics to be used in Berlin. Although spinning lost its importance in the 20th century, the arms refer to the origin of the villages with the spinning wheel and one spindle for each of the villages.
