Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on November 14, 1950.
The beech is a canting element (Buche is beech). The bees refer to the Bienwald forest surrounding the village (Biene is bee), whereas the small shield with the cross of the State of Speyer, refers to the fact that the area historically belonged to Speyer.
