WOLFSBURG-UNKERODA
State : Thüringen
District (Kreis) : Wartburgkreis
Incorporated into : 2018 Gerstungen
Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on May 13, 1994. As the ownership of the villages changed often during the centuries, it was decided not to use any reference to the former rulers in the arms. The wolf is a canting symbol for Wolfsburg. The cross with the boar's head is a reference to a historical stone cross found in the municipality showing a hunting scene. The base shows a mountain symbolising the Thüringer Wald. The division symbolises the two villages in the municipality. Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
