Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 6, 1958.
The arms are canting showing a well (Brunnen) and trees (Wald=forest).
The gold and blue colours are the colours of St, Mary and refer to the fact that the village was owned by the St. Mary monastery in Oberzell from 1208-1803. Silver and blue are also the colours of Bayern.
