Origin/meaning
The arms were granted in 1954.
The eagle is derived from the arms of the Diessen Abbey, which ruled the area for many centuries until 1803. The lower half shows seven stars, one for each of the villages in the municipality. The green colour symbolises the rich nature in the municipality.
