Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on October 4, 1995.
The arms show a canting symbol; the name can be explained as the area cleared (roden) by Bernhard. The beech branch in the arms symbolises the beech forests surrounding the village. The composition appeared for the first time on a seal from the 1950s.
