Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 31, 1939.

The arms show 13 linden leaves, which are a symbol for the poem 'Dreizehnlinden' by Friedrich Wilhelm Weber, which is based on the history of the area and takes place near Höxter. The colours are those of the Corvey Abbey, to which the area historically belonged.

  • Bosseborn
  • Brenkhausen
  • Fürstenau
  • Godelheim
  • Lüchtringen
