Selected collector's items from Germany:

SONNEBORN

State : Thüringen
District (Kreis) : Gotha

Wappen von Sonneborn/Arms of Sonneborn
Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 7, 1995.

The arms show a rising sun, which is a canting element. The village is well known for its never freezing thermal springs, which is symbolised in the lower half, with the waves surrounded by a wall. The whole combination thus is again canting; a sunny spa (Sonnige Brunnen).
