Origin/meaning
The arms were granted in 1957, but are based on the oldest seal of the city, known since 1460. The arms show the deer antler of <a href=wurtembe|Württemberg]], to which Horrheim belonged since 1356. The horn is canting (Horn-heim), or is taken from the crest of the Counts of Württemberg. The colours of the arms are known since 1595 and the arms have not changed since.
Literature: Stadler, 1964-1971, 8 volumes.
