Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 4, 1994.
The arms are based on the arms of the Lords von Wulfen, a 12th century noble family, who owned the village at the time. The wolf is a canting element for the family and the village.
As a symbol for agriculture, a wheatear and green base have been added to the arms.
