Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on ?
The arms are based on the old seal of the village, known since 1665. The scales in the upper half symbolise justice and the village court at the time. The hook probably denotes the local forest (the hook is described as a wood-hook). The meaning of the double-cross is not known.
The arms again appear on the second known seal of the village from 1715 in a slightly different shape.
