Origin/meaning
The arms were designed and adopted in 1907.
The arms are a combination of the arms of the Üsenberg Estate (Wing) and the Margraviate Hachberg (lion). The Lords of Üsenberg owned the village in medieval times and through inheritance it became a possession of the Margaves of Hachberg in the middle of the 15th century. There are no seals of the village known prior to the 19th century. The only seal from that century simply shows in a shield surrounded by branches the letter W (for Weiler) and the name of the municipality. The above arms were designed by the State Archives of Baden.
