District (Kreis) : Saarlouis
Incorporated into : 1970 Saarlouis

Wappen von Neuforweiler/Arms (crest) of Neuforweiler
Official blazon
German In Grün drei goldene, in der Mitte durch ein rotes Band zusammengehaltene Kornähren, begleitet von zwei goldenen heraldische Lilien.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 3, 1964.

The wheatears and green field simply refer to the agricultural character of the municipality. The two fleur-de-lys are the French royal symbol and refer to the French army camps in the area during the construction of the defence systems of Saarlouis.
